50Now I saythis, brethren, that 1flesh and bloodcannot2inherit the kingdom of God; nor does athe perishableinheritb3the imperishable.
51Behold, I tell you a 4mystery; we will not allsleep, but we will all be 5changed,
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the lasttrumpet; for 6the trumpet will sound, and 7the dead will be raisedcimperishable, and 8we will be changed.
For thisdperishablemustput on e9the imperishable, and this10mortal must put on immortality.
But whenthisfperishable will have put on gthe imperishable, and thismortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, "11DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory.
"12O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?"
The sting of 13death is sin, and 14the power of sin is the law;
but 15thanks be to God, who gives us the 16victorythrough our LordJesusChrist.
5817Therefore, my belovedbrethren, be steadfast, immovable, alwaysabounding in 18the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.
