Instructions to Those Who Minister

1 1All who are under the yoke as slaves are to regard their own masters as worthy of all honor so 2that the name of God and our doctrine will not be aspoken against. 2 Those who have believers as their masters must not be disrespectful to them because they are 3brethren, but must serve them all the more, because those who bpartake of the benefit are believers and beloved. 4Teach and cpreach these principles. 3 If anyone 5advocates a different doctrine and does not dagree with 6sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine 7conforming to godliness, 4 he is 8conceited and understands nothing; but he ehas a morbid interest in 9controversial questions and 10disputes about words, out of which arise envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions, 5 and constant friction between 11men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who 12suppose that fgodliness is a means of gain. 6 13But godliness actually is a means of 14great gain when accompanied by 15contentment. 7 For 16we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either.
