11Allwho are under the yoke as slaves are to regard their ownmasters as worthy of allhonorso2that the name of God and our doctrine will not be aspokenagainst.
2Those who havebelievers as their masters must not be disrespectful to them because they are 3brethren, but must serve them all the more, becausethose who bpartake of the benefit are believers and beloved. 4Teach and cpreachthese principles.
3Ifanyone5advocates a differentdoctrine and does not dagree with 6soundwords, those of our LordJesusChrist, and with the doctrine7conforming to godliness,
he is 8conceited and understandsnothing ; but he ehas a morbidinterest in 9controversialquestions and 10disputesaboutwords, out of whichariseenvy, strife, abusivelanguage, evilsuspicions,
and constantfriction between 11men of depravedmind and deprived of the truth, who 12suppose that fgodliness is a means of gain.
613But godliness actually is a means of 14greatgain when accompanied by 15contentment.
For 16we have broughtnothing into the world, so we cannottakeanything out of it either.
