21Grace to you and peace from God the Father and the LordJesusChrist.
We oughtalways2to givethanks to God for you, 3brethren, as is only fitting, because your faith is greatlyenlarged, and the 4love of eachone of you towardoneanothergrows ever greater;
4therefore, we ourselves5speakproudly of you among6the churches of God for your aperseverance and faith7in the midst of all your persecutions and afflictionswhich you endure.
This is a 8plainindication of God'srighteousjudgmentso that you will be 9consideredworthy of the kingdom of God, for whichindeed you are suffering.
6bFor afterall10it is only justcfor God to repay with afflictionthose who afflict you,
and to give relief to you who are afflicteddand to us as well e11when the LordJesus will be revealed12from heaven13with fHis mightyangels14in flamingfire,
8dealing out retribution to those who 15do not knowGod and to those who 16do not obey the gospel of our LordJesus.
9These will pay the penalty of 17eternaldestruction, 18away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
10when He comes to be 19glorifiedgin His hsaints on that 20day, and to be marveled at amongall who have believed -for our 21testimony to you was believed.
To thisendalso we 22pray for you always, that our God will i23count you worthy of your 24calling, and fulfilleverydesire for 25goodness and the 26work of faith with power,
12so that the 27name of our LordJesus will be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the LordJesusChrist.
