2 Timothy 4:5-15 (New American Standard)

View In My Bible
5 But you, 1be sober in all things, 2endure hardship, do the work of an 3evangelist, fulfill your 4ministry. 6 For I am already being 5poured out as a drink offering, and the time of 6my departure has come. 7 7I have fought the good fight, I have finished 8the course, I have kept 9the faith; 8 in the future there 10is laid up for me 11the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on 12that day; and not only to me, but also to 13all who have loved His 14appearing.

Personal Concerns

9 15Make every effort to come to me soon; 10 for 16Demas, having loved 17this present aworld, has deserted me and gone to 18Thessalonica; Crescens has gone to b19Galatia, 20Titus to Dalmatia. 11 21Only 22Luke is with me. Pick up 23Mark and bring him with you, 24for he is useful to me for service. 12 But 25Tychicus I have sent to 26Ephesus. 13 When you come bring the cloak which I left at 27Troas with Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments. 14 28Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm; 29the Lord will repay him according to his deeds. 15 Be on guard against him yourself, for he vigorously opposed our cteaching.
