Then the LORDspoke to Moses, saying,
2"Command the sons of Israel that they bring to you 1clearoil from beatenolives for the alight, to make a lampbburncontinually.
3"Outside the veil of testimony in the tent of meeting, Aaron shall keep it in order from evening to morningbefore the LORDcontinually ; it shall be a perpetualstatute throughout your generations.

"He shall keep the lamps in order on the 2pure gold lampstandbefore the LORDcontinually.

"3Then you shall takefineflour and baketwelvecakes with it; two-tenths of an ephah shall be in eachcake.

"You shall set them in tworows, six to a row, on the 4pure gold tablebefore the LORD.

"You shall putpurefrankincense on each row that it may be 5a memorialportion for the bread, even an offering by fire to the LORD.

"6Every sabbathday he shall set it in orderbefore the LORD7continually ; it is an everlastingcovenantcfor the sons of Israel.
9
"8It shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in a holyplace ; for it is mostholy to him from the LORD'Sofferings by fire, his portionforever."

Now the son of an Israelitewoman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the sons of Israel ; and the Israelitewoman'sson and a man of Israelstruggled with each other in the camp.

The son of the Israelitewomanblasphemed the 9Name and cursed. So they brought him to Moses. (Now his mother'sname was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.)

They put him in dcustodyeso that 10the command of the LORD might be madeclear to them.

Then the LORDspoke to Moses, saying,
14"Bring the one who has cursedoutside the camp, and let all who heard him 11lay their hands on his head ; then 12let all the congregationstone him.
15
"You shall speak to the sons of Israel, saying, '13Ifanyonecurses his God, then he will bear his sin.
16
'Moreover, the one who 14blasphemes the name of the LORD shall surely be put to death ; all the congregation shall certainlystone him. The alien as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.
17
'15If a manftakes the life of anyhumanbeing, he shall surely be put to death.
18
'16The one who gtakes the life of an animal shall make it good, life for life.
19'If a manhinjures his neighbor, just as he has done, so it shall be done to him:
2017fracture for fracture, 18eye for eye, tooth for tooth ; just as he has iinjured a man, so it shall be jinflicted on him.

'Thus the one who kkills an animal shall make it good, but 19the one who lkills a man shall be put to death.
22
'There shall be 20onemstandard for you; it shall be for the stranger as well as the native, for I am the LORD your God.' "

Then Mosesspoke to the sons of Israel, and they brought the one who had cursedoutside the camp and stoned him with stones. Thus the sons of Israeldid, just as the LORD had commandedMoses.
