391One of the criminals who were hanged there was ahurlingabuse at Him, saying, "Are You not the bChrist? 2SaveYourself and us!"
But the otheranswered, and rebuking him said, "Do you not evenfearGod, since you are under the samesentence of condemnation?
"And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receivingcwhat we deserve for our deeds ; but thisman has donenothingwrong."
And he was saying, "Jesus, remember me when You comedin Your kingdom!"
And He said to him, "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in 3Paradise."444It was nowaboute5the sixthhour, and darknessffellover the wholelanduntilgthe ninthhour,
45hbecause the sun was obscured; and 6the veil of the temple was torniin two.
And Jesus, 7crying out with a loudvoice, said, "Father, 8INTO YOUR HANDS I COMMIT MY SPIRIT." Having saidthis, He breathed His last.

And all the crowds who cametogether for thisspectacle, when they observed what had happened, began to return, k11beating their breasts.
