291Departing from there, Jesuswentalong by 2the Sea of Galilee, and having gone up on the mountain, He was sittingthere.
And alargecrowdscame to Him, bringing with them those who were lame, crippled, blind, mute, and manyothers, and they laid them down at His feet; and 3He healed them.
31So the crowdmarveled as they saw the mutespeaking, the crippledbrestored, and the lamewalking, and the blindseeing; and they 4glorified the God of Israel.
325And Jesuscalled His disciples to Him, and said, "6I feelcompassion for the cpeople, because they dhave remained with Me nowthreedays and havenothing to eat; and I do not want to send them awayhungry, for they might faint on the way."33
The disciplessaid to Him, "Where would we get somanyloaves in this desolateplace to satisfysuch a largecrowd?"
And Jesussaid to them, "Howmanyloaves do you have?" And they said, "Seven, and a fewsmallfish."
And He directed the epeople to fsitdown on the ground;
and He took the sevenloaves and the fish; and 7givingthanks, He broke them and started giving them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.
And they allate and were satisfied, and they picked up what was leftover of the brokenpieces, sevenlarge8basketsfull.
And those who ate were fourthousandmen, besideswomen and children.
And sendingaway the crowds, Jesus got into 9the boat and came to the region of 10Magadan.
