then ahe shall 1confessbhis sinswhichche has committed, and he 2shall makerestitution in full for his wrong and add to it one-fifth of it, and give it to him whom he has wronged.
'But if the manhasnodrelative to whom restitution may be made for the wrong, the restitution which is made for the wrong must go to the LORD for the priest, besides the ram of atonement, by whichatonement is made for him.
'3Also everyecontribution pertaining to all the holy gifts of the sons of Israel, which they offer to the priest, shall be his.
'So everyman'sholy gifts shall be his; whateveranymangives to the priest, it 4becomes his.' "
Then the LORDspoke to Moses, saying,
12"Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'Ifanyman'swife5goesastray and is unfaithful to him,
and a manhas6intercourse with her and it is hidden from the eyes of her husband and she is fundetected, although she has defiledherself, and there is nowitness against her and she has not been caught in the act,
14gif a spirit of 7jealousycomesover him and he is jealous of his wife when she has defiled herself, or if a spirit of jealousycomesover him and he is jealous of his wife when she has not defiled herself,
the man shall then bring his wife to the priest, and shall bring as han offering for her one-tenth of an iephah of barleymeal ; he shall not pouroil on it norputfrankincense on it, for it is a grain offering of jealousy, a grain offering of memorial, 8a reminder of iniquity.
'Then the priest shall bring her near and have her standbefore the LORD,
and the priest shall takeholywater in an earthenwarevessel ; and jhe shall takesome of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle and put it into the water.
