'The LORD your God who goes before you will Himself fight on your behalf, just as He did for you in Egypt before your eyes,
"The LORD was angry enough with Aaron to destroy him; so I also prayed for Aaron at the same time.
his corpse shall not hang all night on the tree, but you shall surely bury him on the same day (for he who is hanged is accursed of God ), so that you do not defile your land which the LORD your God gives you as an inheritance.
by loving the LORD your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days, that you may live in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them."
So Moses wrote this song the same day, and taught it to the sons of Israel.
