The Goal of Life

1 Finally, my brethren, 1rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things again is no trouble to me, and it is a safeguard for you. 2 Beware of the 2dogs, beware of the 3evil workers, beware of the afalse circumcision; 3 for 4we are the true bcircumcision, who 5worship in the Spirit of God and 6glory in 7Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh, 4 although 8I myself might have confidence even in the flesh. If anyone else has a mind to put confidence in the flesh, I far more: 5 9circumcised the eighth day, of the 10nation of Israel, of the 11tribe of Benjamin, a 12Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the Law, 13a Pharisee; 6 as to zeal, 14a persecutor of the church; as to the 15righteousness which is in the Law, found 16blameless. 7 But 17whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. 8 More than that, I count all things to be loss cin view of the surpassing value of d18knowing 19Christ Jesus my Lord, efor whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ, 9 and may be found in Him, not having 20a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, 21the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, 10 that I may 22know Him and 23the power of His resurrection and f24the fellowship of His sufferings, being 25conformed to His death;
