Morning Prayer of Trust in God.

1 O LORD, how ¹my adversaries have increased ! Many are rising up against me. 2 Many are saying ^aof my soul, "There is no ^b²deliverance for him in God." ^cSelah. 3 But You, O LORD, are ³a shield about me, My ⁴glory, and the One who ⁵lifts my head. 4 I was crying to the LORD with my voice, And He ⁶answered me from ⁷His holy ^dmountain. Selah. 5 ^eI ⁸lay down and slept ; I awoke, for the LORD sustains me. 6 I will ⁹not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have ¹⁰set themselves against me round about. 7 ¹¹Arise, O LORD ; ¹²save me, O my God ! For You ^fhave ¹³smitten all my enemies on the ^gcheek ; You ^hhave ¹⁴shattered the teeth of the wicked. 8 ⁱ¹⁵Salvation belongs to the LORD ; Your ¹⁶blessing ^jbe upon Your people ! Selah.
