11Giveear to my prayer, O God; And 2do not hide Yourself from my supplication.
2Give3heed to me and answer me; I am restless in my 4complaint and a5am surelydistracted,
3Because of the voice of the enemy, Because of the 6pressure of the wicked; For they 7bringdownbtrouble upon me And in anger they 8bear a grudgeagainst me.
My 9heart is in anguishwithin me, And the terrors of 10death have fallen upon me.
5Fear and 11tremblingcome upon me, And c12horror has overwhelmed me.
I said, "Oh , that I hadwings like a dove! I would flyaway and d13be at rest.
7"Behold, I would wanderfar away, I would 14lodge in the wilderness. eSelah.
"I would hasten to my place of refuge From the 15stormywind and tempest."
9fConfuse, O Lord, 16divide their tongues, For I have seen17violence and strife in the city.
10Day and night they goaround her upon her walls, And iniquity and mischief are in her midst.
1118Destruction is in her midst; 19Oppression and deceit do not depart from her gstreets.
For it is 20not an enemy who reproaches me, Then I could bear it; Nor is it one who hates me who 21has exalted himself against me, Then I could hide myself from him.
But it is you, a manhmy equal, My 22companion and my i23familiarfriend;
We whohadsweetjfellowshiptogether24Walked in the house of God in the throng.
Let kdeathcome25deceitfully upon them; Let them 26godownalive to lSheol, For evil is in their dwelling, in their midst.
As for me, I shall 27call upon God, And the LORD will save me.
1728Evening and 29morning and at 30noon, I will complain and murmur, And He will hear my voice.
He will 31redeem my soul in peacemfrom the battle which is against me, For they are 32many who strive with me.

2241Castsyour burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; 42He will neverallow the righteous to t43be shaken.
But You, O God, will bring them down to the u44pit of destruction; 45Men of bloodshed and deceit will 46not live out half their days. But I will 47trust in You.
