And the beast which I saw was 1like a leopard, and his feet were like those of 2a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of 3a lion. And the 4dragon gave him his power and his 5throne and great authority.

I saw one of his heads as if it had been aslain, and his 6fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth 7was amazed and followed after the beast ;

they worshiped the 8dragon because he 9gave his authority to the beast ; and they worshiped the beast, saying, "10Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?"

There was given to him a mouth 11speaking barrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for 12forty-two months was given to him.

And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, 13those who cdwell in heaven.
7
It was also given to him to 14make war with the dsaints and to overcome them, and authority over 15every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him.
8
All who 16dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone 17whose name has not been ewritten 18from the foundation of the world in the 19book of life of 20the Lamb who has been slain.
9
21If anyone has an ear, let him hear.
10
22If anyone fis destined for captivity, to captivity he goes ; 23if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is 24the gperseverance and the faith of the hsaints.
The Beast from the Earth
11 Then 25I saw another beast coming up out of the earth ; and he had 26two horns like a lamb and he spoke as a 27dragon. 12 He 28exercises all the authority of the first beast i29in his presence.
