1 ORA, quant’è alla colletta che si fa per i santi, come ne ho ordinato alle chiese della Galazia, così ancor fate voi.
|
1 Now about the collection for God's people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do.
|
|
2 Ogni primo giorno della settimana ciascun di voi riponga appresso di sè ciò che gli sarà comodo; acciocchè, quando io sarò venuto, le collette non si abbiano più a fare.
|
2 On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.
|
|
3 E quando io sarò giunto, io manderò coloro che voi avrete approvati per lettere a portar la vostra liberalità in Gerusalemme.
|
3 Then, when I arrive, I will give letters of introduction to the men you approve and send them with your gift to Jerusalem.
|
|
4 E se converrà ch’io stesso ci vada, essi verranno meco.
|
4 If it seems advisable for me to go also, they will accompany me.
|
|
5 OR io verrò a voi, dopo che sarò passato per la Macedonia, perciocchè io passerò per la Macedonia.
|
5 After I go through Macedonia, I will come to you--for I will be going through Macedonia.
|
|
6 E forse farò qualche dimora appresso di voi, ovvero ancora ci vernerò; acciocchè voi mi accompagniate dovunque io andrò.
|
6 Perhaps I will stay with you awhile, or even spend the winter, so that you can help me on my journey, wherever I go.
|
|
7 Perciocchè io non voglio questa volta vedervi di passaggio; ma spero dimorar qualche tempo appresso di voi, se il Signore lo permette.
|
7 I do not want to see you now and make only a passing visit; I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits.
|
|
8 Or io resterò in Efeso fino alla Pentecosta.
|
8 But I will stay on at Ephesus until Pentecost,
|
|
9 Perciocchè una grande ed efficace porta mi è aperta; e vi son molti avversari.
|
9 because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me.
|
|
10 Ora, se Timoteo viene, vedete ch’egli stia sicuramente appresso di voi; perciocchè egli si adopera nell’opera del Signore, come io stesso.
|
10 If Timothy comes, see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is carrying on the work of the Lord, just as I am.
|
|
11 Niuno adunque lo sprezzi, anzi accompagnatelo in pace, acciocchè egli venga a me; perciocchè io l’aspetto co’ fratelli.
|
11 No one, then, should refuse to accept him. Send him on his way in peace so that he may return to me. I am expecting him along with the brothers.
|
|
12 Ora, quant’è al fratello Apollo, io l’ho molto confortato di andare a voi co’ fratelli; ma egli del tutto non ha avuta volontà di andarvi ora; ma pur vi andrà, quando avrà l’opportunità.
|
12 Now about our brother Apollos: I strongly urged him to go to you with the brothers. He was quite unwilling to go now, but he will go when he has the opportunity.
|
|
13 Vegliate, state fermi nella fede, portatevi virilmente, fortificatevi.
|
13 Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.
|
|
14 Tutte le cose vostre facciansi con carità.
|
14 Do everything in love.
|
|
15 Ora, fratelli, io vi esorto che voi conoscete la famiglia di Stefana, e sapete che è le primizie dell’Acaia e che si son dedicati al servigio de’ santi
|
15 You know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and they have devoted themselves to the service of the saints. I urge you, brothers,
|
|
16 voi ancora vi sottomettiate a tali, ed a chiunque si adopera, e s’affatica nell’opera comune.
|
16 to submit to such as these and to everyone who joins in the work, and labors at it.
|
|
17 Or io mi rallegro della venuta di Stefana, e di Fortunato, e d’Acaico; poichè hanno supplito alla vostra assenza.
|
17 I was glad when Stephanas, Fortunatus and Achaicus arrived, because they have supplied what was lacking from you.
|
|
18 Perciocchè hanno ricreato lo spirito mio, ed il vostro; riconoscete adunque coloro che son tali.
|
18 For they refreshed my spirit and yours also. Such men deserve recognition.
|
|
19 Le chiese dell’Asia vi salutano; Aquila, e Priscilla, insieme con la chiesa che è nella lor casa, vi salutano molto nel Signore.
|
19 The churches in the province of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Priscilla greet you warmly in the Lord, and so does the church that meets at their house.
|
|
20 Tutti i fratelli vi salutano; salutatevi gli uni gli altri con un santo bacio.
|
20 All the brothers here send you greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss.
|
|
21 Il saluto di man propria di me Paolo.
|
21 I, Paul, write this greeting in my own hand.
|
|
22 Se alcuno non ama il Signor Gesù Cristo, sia anatema! Maranata.
|
22 If anyone does not love the Lord--a curse be on him. Come, O Lord !
|
|
23 La grazia del Signor Gesù Cristo sia con voi.
|
23 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.
|
|
24 La mia carità sia con tutti voi, in Cristo Gesù. Amen.
|
24 My love to all of you in Christ Jesus. Amen.
