Ephesians 5:20-30

TYN 20 gevinge thankes all wayes for all thinges vnto God the father in the name of oure Lorde Iesu Christ: NIV 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. TYN 21 submittinge youre selves one to another in the feare of God. NIV 21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. TYN 22 Wemen submit youre selves vnto youre awne husbandes as vnto the Lorde. NIV 22 Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. TYN 23 For the husbande is the wyves heed even as Christ is the heed of the congregacion and the same is the saveoure of the body. NIV 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. TYN 24 Therfore as the cogregacion is in subieccion to Christ lykwyse let the wyves be in subieccion to their husbandes in all thinges. NIV 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. TYN 25 Husbandes love youre wyves even as Christ loved the congregacion and gave him silfe for it NIV 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her TYN 26 to sanctifie it and clensed it in the fountayne of water thorow the worde NIV 26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, TYN 27 to make it vnto him selfe a glorious congregacion with oute spot or wrynckle or eny soche thinge: but that it shuld be holy and with out blame. NIV 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. TYN 28 So ought men to love their wyves as their awne bodyes. He that loveth his wyfe loveth him sylfe. NIV 28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. TYN 29 For no ma ever yet hated his awne flesshe: but norissheth and cherisseth it even as the lorde doth the congregacion. NIV 29 After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church-- TYN 30 For we are members of his body of his flesshe and of his bones. NIV 30 for we are members of his body.
