Hebrews 9:1-6

HNV 1 Now indeed even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service, and an earthly sanctuary. NIV 1 Now the first covenant had regulations for worship and also an earthly sanctuary. HNV 2 For there was a tent prepared, the first, in which were the menorah, the table, and the show bread; which is called the Holy Place. NIV 2 A tabernacle was set up. In its first room were the lampstand, the table and the consecrated bread; this was called the Holy Place. HNV 3 After the second veil, the tent which is called the Holy of Holies, NIV 3 Behind the second curtain was a room called the Most Holy Place, HNV 4 having a golden altar of incense, and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which was a golden pot holding the manna, Aharon's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; NIV 4 which had the golden altar of incense and the gold-covered ark of the covenant. This ark contained the gold jar of manna, Aaron's staff that had budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant. HNV 5 and above it Keruvim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat, of which things we can't now speak in detail. NIV 5 Above the ark were the cherubim of the Glory, overshadowing the atonement cover. But we cannot discuss these things in detail now. HNV 6 Now these things having been thus prepared, the Kohanim go in continually into the first tent, accomplishing the services, NIV 6 When everything had been arranged like this, the priests entered regularly into the outer room to carry on their ministry.
