Job 42:1-6

WBT 1 Then Job answered the LORD, and said, NIV 1 Then Job replied to the LORD: WBT 2 I know that thou canst do every [thing], and [that] no thought can be withheld from thee. NIV 2 "I know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted. WBT 3 Who [is] he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that which I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not. NIV 3 [You asked,] 'Who is this that obscures my counsel without knowledge?' Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know. WBT 4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will ask of thee, and declare thou to me. NIV 4 ["You said,] 'Listen now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you shall answer me.' WBT 5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now my eye seeth thee. NIV 5 My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you. WBT 6 Wherefore I abhor [myself], and repent in dust and ashes. NIV 6 Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes."
