Mark 6:7-13

NLT 7 And he called his twelve disciples together and sent them out two by two, with authority to cast out evil spirits. NIV 7 Calling the Twelve to him, he sent them out two by two and gave them authority over evil spirits. NLT 8 He told them to take nothing with them except a walking stick -- no food, no traveler's bag, no money. NIV 8 These were his instructions: "Take nothing for the journey except a staff--no bread, no bag, no money in your belts. NLT 9 He told them to wear sandals but not to take even an extra coat. NIV 9 Wear sandals but not an extra tunic. NLT 10 "When you enter each village, be a guest in only one home," he said. NIV 10 Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you leave that town. NLT 11 "And if a village won't welcome you or listen to you, shake off its dust from your feet as you leave. It is a sign that you have abandoned that village to its fate." NIV 11 And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, shake the dust off your feet when you leave, as a testimony against them." NLT 12 So the disciples went out, telling all they met to turn from their sins. NIV 12 They went out and preached that people should repent. NLT 13 And they cast out many demons and healed many sick people, anointing them with olive oil. NIV 13 They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.
