Philippians 4

TYN 1 Herfore my brethren dearly beloved and longed for my ioye and croune so continue in the lorde ye beloved. NIV 1 Therefore, my brothers, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, that is how you should stand firm in the Lord, dear friends! TYN 2 I praye Evodias and beseche Sintiches that they be of one accorde in the lorde. NIV 2 I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to agree with each other in the Lord. TYN 3 Yee and I beseche the faythfull yockfelowe helpe the wemen which labored with me in the gospell and with Clement also and with other my labour felowes whose names are in the boke of lyfe. NIV 3 Yes, and I ask you, loyal yokefellow, help these women who have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life. TYN 4 Reioyce in the Lorde alwaye and agayne I saye reioyce. NIV 4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! TYN 5 Let youre softenes be knowen vnto all men. The lorde is even at honde. NIV 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. TYN 6 Be not carfull: but in all thynges shewe youre peticion vnto god in prayer and suplicacion wt gevynge of thankes. NIV 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. TYN 7 And the peace of god which passeth all vnderstondinge kepe youre hertes and myndes in christ Iesu. NIV 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. TYN 8 Furthermore brethren whatsoever thinges are true whatsoever thynges are honest what soever thynges are iust whatsoever thynges are pure whatsoever thynges pertayne to love whatsoever thynges are of honest reporte: yf ther be eny verteous thynge yf there be eny laudable thynge NIV 8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. TYN 9 those same have ye in youre mynde which ye have both learned and receaved herde and also sene in me: those thynges do and the god of peace shalbe with you. NIV 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me--put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. TYN 10 I reioyse in the lorde greatly that now at the last ye are revived agayne to care for me in yt wherein ye were also carefull but ye lacked oportunite. NIV 10 I rejoice greatly in the Lord that at last you have renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you have been concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. TYN 11 I speake not because of necessitie. For I have learned in whatsoever estate I am therewith to be content. NIV 11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. TYN 12 I can both cast doune my silfe I can also excede. Every where and in all thynges I am instructed both to be full and to be hongry: to have plenty and to suffre nede. NIV 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. TYN 13 I can do all thynges thorow the helpe of Christ which strengtheth me. NIV 13 I can do everything through him who gives me strength. TYN 14 Not wistondynge ye have well done that ye bare parte with me in my tribvlacion. NIV 14 Yet it was good of you to share in my troubles. TYN 15 Ye of Philippos knowe that in the begynnynge of the gospell when I departed from Macedonia no congregacion bare parte with me as concernynge gevynge and receavynge but ye only. NIV 15 Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only; TYN 16 For when I was in Tessalonica ye sent once and afterwarde agayne vnto my nedes: NIV 16 for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid again and again when I was in need. TYN 17 not that I desyre gyftes: but I desyre aboudant frute on youre parte. NIV 17 Not that I am looking for a gift, but I am looking for what may be credited to your account. TYN 18 I receaved all and have plentie. I was even filled after that I had receaved of Epaphroditus that which came from you an odour that smelleth swete a sacrifice accepted and plesaunt to God. NIV 18 I have received full payment and even more; I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. TYN 19 My god fulfill all youre nedes thorow his glorious riches in Iesu Christ. NIV 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. TYN 20 Vnto God and oure father be prayse for ever more. Amen. NIV 20 To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. TYN 21 Salute all the sainctes in Christ Iesu. The brethren which are with me grete you. NIV 21 Greet all the saints in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me send greetings. TYN 22 All the saynctes salute you: and most of all they which are of the Emperours housholde. NIV 22 All the saints send you greetings, especially those who belong to Caesar's household. TYN 23 The grace of oure lorde Iesu Christ be wt you all. Amen NIV 23 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
