Philippians 4:1-6

WYC 1 Therefore, my brethren most dear-worthy and most desired, my joy and my crown, so stand ye in the Lord, most dear brethren. NIV 1 Therefore, my brothers, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, that is how you should stand firm in the Lord, dear friends! WYC 2 I pray Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, to understand the same thing in the Lord. NIV 2 I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to agree with each other in the Lord. WYC 3 Also I pray and thee, german fellow [Also and I pray thee, german even-fellow], help thou those women that travailed with me in the gospel, with Clement and other mine helpers, whose names be in the book of life. NIV 3 Yes, and I ask you, loyal yokefellow, help these women who have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life. WYC 4 Joy ye in the Lord evermore; again I say, joy ye. NIV 4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! WYC 5 Be your patience known to all men [Be your temperance, or patience, known to all men]; the Lord is nigh. NIV 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. WYC 6 Be ye nothing busy [Be nothing busy], but in all prayer and beseeching, with doing of thankings, be your askings known at God. NIV 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
