Proverbs 15:22-32

NRS 22 Without counsel, plans go wrong, but with many advisers they succeed. NIV 22 Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed. NRS 23 To make an apt answer is a joy to anyone, and a word in season, how good it is! NIV 23 A man finds joy in giving an apt reply-- and how good is a timely word! NIV 29 The LORD is far from the wicked but he hears the prayer of the righteous. NRS 30 The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, and good news refreshes the body. NIV 30 A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones. NRS 31 The ear that heeds wholesome admonition will lodge among the wise. NIV 31 He who listens to a life-giving rebuke will be at home among the wise. NRS 32 Those who ignore instruction despise themselves, but those who heed admonition gain understanding. NIV 32 He who ignores discipline despises himself, but whoever heeds correction gains understanding.
