Proverbs 3:1-9

NLT 1 My child, never forget the things I have taught you. Store my commands in your heart. NIV 1 My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, NLT 2 If you do this, you will live many years, and your life will be satisfying. NIV 2 for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity. NLT 3 Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. NIV 3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. NLT 4 Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation. NIV 4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. NLT 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. NIV 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; NLT 6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. NIV 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. NLT 7 Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn away from evil. NIV 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. NLT 8 Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones. NIV 8 This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. NLT 9 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. NIV 9 Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops;
