Proverbs 6:24-29

WBT 24 To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman. NIV 24 keeping you from the immoral woman, from the smooth tongue of the wayward wife. WBT 25 Lust not after her beauty in thy heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. NIV 25 Do not lust in your heart after her beauty or let her captivate you with her eyes, WBT 26 For by means of a lewd woman [a man is brought] to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life. NIV 26 for the prostitute reduces you to a loaf of bread, and the adulteress preys upon your very life. WBT 27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? NIV 27 Can a man scoop fire into his lap without his clothes being burned? WBT 28 Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? NIV 28 Can a man walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched? WBT 29 So he that goeth in to his neighbor's wife; whoever toucheth her shall not be innocent. NIV 29 So is he who sleeps with another man's wife; no one who touches her will go unpunished.
