VULA 1 canticum psalmi David NIV 1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. VULA 2 paratum cor meum Deus paratum cor meum cantabo et psallam in gloria mea NIV 2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say this-- those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, VULA 3 exsurge psalterium et cithara exsurgam diluculo NIV 3 those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south. VULA 4 confitebor tibi in populis Domine et psallam tibi in nationibus NIV 4 Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no way to a city where they could settle. VULA 5 quia magna super caelos misericordia tua et usque ad nubes veritas tua NIV 5 They were hungry and thirsty, and their lives ebbed away. VULA 6 exaltare super caelos Deus et super omnem terram gloria tua NIV 6 Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. VULA 7 ut liberentur dilecti tui salvum fac dextera tua et exaudi me NIV 7 He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle. VULA 8 Deus locutus est in sancto suo exaltabor et dividam Sicima et convallem tabernaculorum dimetiar NIV 8 Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men, VULA 9 meus est Galaad et meus est Manasse et Effraim susceptio capitis mei Iuda rex meus NIV 9 for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. VULA 14 in Deo faciemus virtutem et ipse ad nihilum deducet inimicos nostros NIV 14 He brought them out of darkness and the deepest gloom and broke away their chains.
