NAS 17 Deal bountifully with Your servant, That I may live and keep Your word. NIV 17 Do good to your servant, and I will live; I will obey your word. NAS 18 Open my eyes, that I may behold Wonderful things from Your law. NIV 18 Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law. NAS 19 I am a stranger in the earth; Do not hide Your commandments from me. NIV 19 I am a stranger on earth; do not hide your commands from me. NAS 20 My soul is crushed with longing After Your ordinances at all times. NIV 20 My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times. NAS 21 You rebuke the arrogant, the cursed, Who wander from Your commandments. NIV 21 You rebuke the arrogant, who are cursed and who stray from your commands. NAS 22 Take away reproach and contempt from me, For I observe Your testimonies. NIV 22 Remove from me scorn and contempt, for I keep your statutes. NAS 23 Even though princes sit and talk against me, Your servant meditates on Your statutes. NIV 23 Though rulers sit together and slander me, your servant will meditate on your decrees.
