Psalm 119:49-56

KJV 49 ZAIN. Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope . NIV 49 Remember your word to your servant, for you have given me hope. KJV 50 This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me. NIV 50 My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life. KJV 51 The proud have had me greatly in derision : yet have I not declined from thy law. NIV 51 The arrogant mock me without restraint, but I do not turn from your law. KJV 52 I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself. NIV 52 I remember your ancient laws, O LORD, and I find comfort in them. KJV 53 Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law. NIV 53 Indignation grips me because of the wicked, who have forsaken your law. KJV 54 Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage. NIV 54 Your decrees are the theme of my song wherever I lodge. KJV 55 I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law. NIV 55 In the night I remember your name, O LORD, and I will keep your law. KJV 56 This I had, because I kept thy precepts. NIV 56 This has been my practice: I obey your precepts.
