NLT 1 Keep me safe, O God, for I have come to you for refuge. NIV 1 Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge. NLT 2 I said to the , “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.” NIV 2 I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing." NLT 3 The godly people in the land are my true heroes! I will not take part in their sacrifices of blood or even speak the names of their gods. NIV 4 The sorrows of those will increase who run after other gods. I will not pour out their libations of blood or take up their names on my lips. NLT 5 , you alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing. You guard all that is mine. NIV 5 LORD, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. NLT 6 The land you have given me is a pleasant land. What a wonderful inheritance! NIV 6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. NLT 7 I will bless the who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. NIV 7 I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. NLT 8 I know the is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. NIV 8 I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. NLT 9 No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety. NIV 9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, NLT 10 For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your holy one to rot in the grave. NIV 10 because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. NLT 11 You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever. NIV 11 You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
