NLT 6 You have thrown me into the lowest pit, into the darkest depths. NIV 6 You have put me in the lowest pit, in the darkest depths. NLT 7 Your anger weighs me down; with wave after wave you have engulfed me. Interlude NIV 7 Your wrath lies heavily upon me; you have overwhelmed me with all your waves. I call to you, O LORD, every day; I spread out my hands to you. NLT 10 Are your wonderful deeds of any use to the dead? Do the dead rise up and praise you? Interlude NIV 10 Do you show your wonders to the dead? Do those who are dead rise up and praise you? "Selah" NLT 11 Can those in the grave declare your unfailing love? Can they proclaim your faithfulness in the place of destruction? NIV 11 Is your love declared in the grave, your faithfulness in Destruction ? NLT 12 Can the darkness speak of your wonderful deeds? Can anyone in the land of forgetfulness talk about your righteousness? NIV 12 Are your wonders known in the place of darkness, or your righteous deeds in the land of oblivion? NLT 13 O LORD , I cry out to you. I will keep on pleading day by day. NIV 13 But I cry to you for help, O LORD; in the morning my prayer comes before you. NLT 14 O LORD , why do you reject me? Why do you turn your face from me? NIV 14 Why, O LORD, do you reject me and hide your face from me? NLT 15 I have been sick and close to death since my youth. I stand helpless and desperate before your terrors. NIV 15 From my youth I have been afflicted and close to death; I have suffered your terrors and am in despair.
