Psalm 92

NCV 1 It is good to praise you, Lord, to sing praises to God Most High. NIV 1 It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High, NCV 2 It is good to tell of your love in the morning and of your loyalty at night. NIV 2 to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, NCV 3 It is good to praise you with the ten-stringed lyre and with the soft-sounding harp. NIV 3 to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp. NCV 4 Lord, you have made me happy by what you have done; I will sing for joy about what your hands have done. NIV 4 For you make me glad by your deeds, O LORD; I sing for joy at the works of your hands. NCV 5 Lord, you have done such great things! How deep are your thoughts! NIV 5 How great are your works, O LORD, how profound your thoughts! NCV 6 Stupid people don't know these things, and fools don't understand. NIV 6 The senseless man does not know, fools do not understand, NCV 7 Wicked people grow like the grass. Evil people seem to do well, but they will be destroyed forever. NIV 7 that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be forever destroyed. NCV 8 But, Lord, you will be honored forever. NIV 8 But you, O LORD, are exalted forever. NCV 9 Lord, surely your enemies, surely your enemies will be destroyed, and all who do evil will be scattered. NIV 9 For surely your enemies, O LORD, surely your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered. NCV 10 But you have made me as strong as an ox. You have poured fine oils on me. NIV 10 You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; fine oils have been poured upon me. NCV 11 When I looked, I saw my enemies; I heard the cries of those who are against me. NIV 11 My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries; my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes. NCV 12 But good people will grow like palm trees; they will be tall like the cedars of Lebanon. NIV 12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; NCV 13 Like trees planted in the Temple of the Lord, they will grow strong in the courtyards of our God. NIV 13 planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. NCV 14 When they are old, they will still produce fruit; they will be healthy and fresh. NIV 14 They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, NCV 15 They will say that the Lord is good. He is my Rock, and there is no wrong in him. NIV 15 proclaiming, "The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him."
