Números 17:7-13

7 Y Moisés puso las varas delante del SEÑOR en el tabernáculo del testimonio.

8 Y aconteció que el día siguiente vino Moisés al tabernáculo del testimonio; y he aquí que la vara de Aarón de la casa de Leví había brotado, y echado flores, y arrojado renuevos, y producido almendras.

9 Entonces Moisés sacó todas las varas de delante del SEÑOR a todos los hijos de Israel; y ellos lo vieron, y tomaron cada uno su vara.

10 Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Vuelve la vara de Aarón delante del testimonio, para que se guarde por señal a los hijos rebeldes; y harás cesar sus quejas de sobre mí, para que no mueran.

11 E hizo Moisés como le mandó el SEÑOR, así hizo.

12 Entonces los hijos de Israel hablaron a Moisés, diciendo: He aquí nosotros somos muertos, perdidos somos, todos nosotros somos perdidos.

13 Cualquiera que se acercare, el que viniere al tabernáculo del SEÑOR morirá: ¿acabaremos por perecer todos?

INTRODUCTION TO NUMBERS 17

In this chapter the priesthood of Aaron is further confirmed and established by the budding and blossom of his rod, as it lay among the princes of the several tribes, when theirs did not, Nu 17:1-9; which rod of Aaron was ordered to be laid up before the ark, as a token against the rebels, and to put an end to all murmurings against Aaron for the future; which was accordingly done, Nu 17:10,11; upon which the people expressed their fear of perishing because of their sins, Nu 17:12,13.
