Citizens

Citizens
It is very difficult to become a citizen of Liechtenstein. That's true even if you were born there. First there must be a referendum held in your village. If you pass that test you must be voted on by the Prime Minister and his cabinet. Only then can you become a citizen. It rarely happens. There are people in Liechtenstein who were not only born there, but whose families have lived there for generations, yet they are still foreigners. In the United States, on the other hand, every one born in the country is a citizen. And in the kingdom of God everyone born again is a citizen! "Now you are no longer foreigners ... but fellow citizens with the saints" (Ephesians 2:19).
