Talents, Abilities

John Huffman observes, "God smiles when we use our abilities. You saw the movie Chariots of Fire. Remember the Scot Olympic runner, Eric Liddell, who declared, "I believe God made me for a purpose, but He also made me fast, and when I run I feel God's pleasure." He went on to say, "To give up running would be to hold Him in contempt."
"There are no unspiritual abilities--just misused ones. Are you using your gifts, your abilities, your talents to bring pleasure to God?"
