Praise be1 to you, O LORD; teach me2 your decrees.313
With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth.414
I rejoice in following your statutes5 as one rejoices in great riches.
I meditate on your precepts6 and consider your ways.
I delight7 in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.
Do good to your servant,8 and I will live; I will obey your word.918
Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.
I am a stranger on earth;10 do not hide your commands from me.
My soul is consumed11 with longing for your laws12 at all times.
You rebuke the arrogant,13 who are cursed14 and who stray15 from your commands.
Remove from me scorn16 and contempt, for I keep your statutes.17
