122 Ensure your servant's well-being;¹ let not the arrogant oppress me.² 123 My eyes fail,³ looking for your salvation,⁴ looking for your righteous promise.⁵ 124 Deal with your servant according to your love⁶ and teach me your decrees.⁷ 125 I am your servant;⁸ give me discernment that I may understand your statutes.⁹ 126 It is time for you to act, O LORD; your law is being broken.¹⁰ 127 Because I love your commands¹¹ more than gold,¹² more than pure gold,¹³ 128 and because I consider all your precepts right,¹⁴ I hate every wrong path.¹⁵

129 Your statutes are wonderful;¹⁶ therefore I obey them.¹⁷ 130 The unfolding of your words gives light;¹⁸ it gives understanding to the simple.¹⁹ 131 I open my mouth and pant,²⁰ longing for your commands.²¹ 132 Turn to me²² and have mercy²³ on me, as you always do to those who love your name.²⁴
