13 halló allí a los hermanos de Ocozías rey de Judá, y les dijo: ¿Quién sois vosotros? Y ellos dijeron: Somos hermanos de Ocozías, y hemos venido a saludar a los hijos del rey, y a los hijos de la reina.

2 Kings 10:13

Jehu met with the brethren of Ahaziah king of Judah
At the above place; these were the sons of his brethren, called his brethren, as Lot was called Abraham's brother, being his brother's son; for as for his brethren, they had been slain by the Arabians before he was made king, ( 2 Chronicles 22:1 2 Chronicles 22:8 ) ,

and said, who are ye?
though perhaps he knew who they were:

and they answered, we are the brethren of Ahaziah;
the sons of his brethren:

and we go down to salute the children of the king, and the children of
the queen;
meaning either the children of Ahab and Jezebel, or of Joram and his queen; for they knew nothing of the death of Joram and Jezebel, and the revolution made in the kingdom, and therefore with great simplicity tell who they were, and where they were going, and on what account.

11 Mató entonces Jehú a todos los que habían quedado de la casa de Acab en Jezreel, y a todos sus príncipes, y a todos sus familiares, y a sus sacerdotes, que no le quedó ninguno.

12 Y se levantó de allí, y vino a Samaria; y llegando él en el camino a una casa de esquileo de pastores,

13 halló allí a los hermanos de Ocozías rey de Judá, y les dijo: ¿Quién sois vosotros? Y ellos dijeron: Somos hermanos de Ocozías, y hemos venido a saludar a los hijos del rey, y a los hijos de la reina.

14 Entonces él dijo: Prendedlos vivos. Y después que los tomaron vivos, los degollaron junto al pozo de la casa de esquileo, cuarenta y dos varones, sin dejar ninguno de ellos.

15 Partiéndose luego de allí se encontró con Jonadab hijo de Recab; y después que lo hubo saludado, le dijo: ¿Es recto tu corazón, como el mío es recto con el tuyo? Y Jonadab dijo: Lo es. Pues que lo es, dame la mano. Y él le dio su mano y lo hizo subir consigo en el carro.
