25 Portanto assim diz o Senhor Deus: Agora tornarei a trazer Jacó, e me compadecerei de toda a casa de Israel; terei zelo pelo meu santo nome.

Ezekiel 39:25

Therefore thus saith the Lord
The Jews having been long punished for their sins; and being brought to repentance for them, and to faith in Christ, as they will be in the latter day: hence it follows, now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob;
or the captives of Jacob, the people of Israel, that have been carried captive into all lands; these shall be gathered from thence, and brought into their own land: and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel;
all the twelve tribes; which shows that this has not respect to the return of the Jews from the Babylonish captivity; for then the Lord had mercy on the house of Judah only; or the two tribes of Judah and Benjamin; but their return from their present captivity, and future conversion, when all Israel shall be saved;
as the fruit and effect of the rich sovereign grace and mercy of God unto them, ( Romans 11:25 Romans 11:26 ) : and will be jealous for my holy name;
or, "zealous" ^F12 for the glory of it, that it be no more blasphemed among the Heathen; and that it be glorified among his own people.

23 E as nações saberão que os da casa de Israel, por causa da sua iniqüidade, foram levados em cativeiro; porque se houveram traiçõeiramente para comigo, e eu escondi deles o meu rosto; por isso os entreguei nas mãos de seus adversários, e todos caíram � espada.

24 Conforme a sua imundícia e conforme as suas transgressões me houve com eles, e escondi deles o meu rosto.

25 Portanto assim diz o Senhor Deus: Agora tornarei a trazer Jacó, e me compadecerei de toda a casa de Israel; terei zelo pelo meu santo nome.

26 E eles se esquecerão tanto do seu opróbrio, como de todas as suas infidelidades pelas quais transgrediram contra mim, quando eles habitarem seguros na sua terra, sem haver quem os amedronte;

27 quando eu os tornar a trazer de entre os povos, e os houver ajuntado das terras de seus inimigos, e for santificado neles aos olhos de muitas nações.
