God is for unity, Satan is not. So when we are at odds with someone, the enemy is happy.

God wants us to consider each other better than ourselves.

Sometimes I think we get things backward. We mistakenly think God is good when he answers our prayers.

The next time we’re tempted to react instead of responding with grace, we need to remember God didn’t give us what we truly deserved.

The exciting thing about relying on God is that it frees up our spouses to be who they were meant to be. Someone to come alongside, to love and support. God is to be the center of our relationship, the core.

Pride is at work when we think our ways are better.

Marriage is work. And often, too much time is spent on the wedding, and not enough on what follows.

When we feel afraid, we can let God’s Spirit remind us of what God says in his Word.

How do we face each day without worry and fear? What is the answer to our anxious thoughts? I don’t want to give you a pat answer here. But I’m going to give you the only one I’ve found helpful. Prayer.

Words are like spent arrows. Once they are out of our mouths, there is no retrieving them.

We rise and go through the motions, often feeling helpless. But we must remember that God is sovereign. We are not in this alone.

Jesus considered others. He knew serving others was also serving God.

God loves his children. So much that he provided a way for us to someday live with him forever.

It’s easy to look around and see what others own and to be dissatisfied with what we have at the moment.
