20 Y doce leones estaban de pie allĂ­ en las seis gradas a uno y otro lado; nada semejante se hizo para ningĂșn otro reino.

1 Kings 10:20

And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other
upon the six steps
There was a lion on each side of every step, a symbol of royal power, as before observed; so the Egyptians placed lions under the throne of Orus F18:

there was not the like made in any kingdom;
for the matter and form of it, for its grandeur and magnificence; there was none at least at that time, whatever has been since; for this is the first throne of ivory we read of.

18 El rey hizo ademĂĄs, un gran trono de marfil y lo revistiĂł de oro finĂ­simo.
19 HabĂ­a seis gradas hasta el trono, y por detrĂĄs, la parte superior del trono era redonda, con brazos a cada lado del asiento y dos leones de pie junto a los brazos.
20 Y doce leones estaban de pie allĂ­ en las seis gradas a uno y otro lado; nada semejante se hizo para ningĂșn otro reino.
21 Todos los vasos de beber del rey SalomĂłn eran de oro, tambiĂ©n todas las vasijas de la casa del bosque del LĂ­bano eran de oro puro, ninguna era de plata; Ă©sta no se consideraba de ningĂșn valor en los dĂ­as de SalomĂłn,
22 porque el rey tenía en el mar las naves de Tarsis con las naves de Hiram, y cada tres años las naves de Tarsis venían trayendo oro, plata, marfil, monos y pavos reales.
