2 Crónicas 24:11

11 Y sucedía que siempre que el arca era traída al oficial del rey por los levitas, y cuando veían que había mucho dinero, entonces el escriba del rey y el oficial del sumo sacerdote venían, vaciaban el arca, la tomaban y la volvían a su lugar. Así hacían diariamente y recogían mucho dinero.

2 Chronicles 24:11

Now it came to pass, that at what time the chest was brought
unto the king's office by the hand of the Levites
The place where his officer or officers met, appointed for this service; very probably in one of the chambers of the temple,

and when they saw that there was much money:
see ( 2 Kings 12:10 ) ,

the king's scribe;
or secretary:

and the high priest's officer;
his "sagan", or deputy priest:

came and emptied the chest;
poured out the money, and told it, and put it up in bags, ( 2 Kings 12:10 ) and took it, and carried it to its place again, ( 2 Chronicles 24:8 ) , by the hands of the Levites that brought it;

and thus they did day by day;
as often as the chest was full, or they perceived there was much in it:

and gathered money in abundance;
enough to repair the house, ornament it, and furnish it with vessels that were wanting.

9 Y proclamaron en Judá y en Jerusalén que trajeran al SEÑOR la contribución que Moisés, siervo de Dios, impuso sobre Israel en el desierto.

10 Todos los oficiales y todo el pueblo se regocijaron y trajeron sus contribuciones y las echaron en el arca hasta llenarla.

11 Y sucedía que siempre que el arca era traída al oficial del rey por los levitas, y cuando veían que había mucho dinero, entonces el escriba del rey y el oficial del sumo sacerdote venían, vaciaban el arca, la tomaban y la volvían a su lugar. Así hacían diariamente y recogían mucho dinero.

12 Y el rey y Joiada lo daban a los que hacían la obra del servicio de la casa del SEÑOR; y contrataron canteros y carpinteros para reparar la casa del SEÑOR, y también artífices en hierro y bronce para reparar la casa del SEÑOR.

13 Los obreros trabajaron, y el trabajo de reparación progresó en sus manos, y restauraron la casa de Dios conforme a sus planos y la reforzaron.
