2 Crónicas 8:4 Meaning and Commentary

2 Chronicles 8:4

And built Tadmor in the wilderness
Of which (See Gill on 1 Kings 9:18)

and all the storehouses which he built in Hamath;
a country in Syria, which he made himself master of, and where he laid up store of provision and ammunition to keep it, should any attempt be made to rescue it out of his hands. According to an Arabic writer F1, Solomon in the twenty fourth year of his reign having demolished Antioch, built seven cities, of which Tadmor was one.

3 Despu茅s Salom贸n fue a Hamat de Soba y la tom贸.

5 Tambi茅n reedific贸 Bet-hor贸n de arriba y Bet-hor贸n de abajo, ciudades fortificadas, con muros, puertas y barras;
6 y Baalat y todas las ciudades de almacenaje que Salom贸n ten铆a, y todas las ciudades para sus carros, y las ciudades para sus hombres de a caballo, y todo lo que Salom贸n quiso edificar en Jerusal茅n, en el L铆bano y en toda la tierra de su dominio.
