2 Kings 14:12

And Judah was put to the worse before Israel
Could not face them; but, as Josephus F4 says, a sudden fear and consternation seized them, and before they joined battle with the Israelites, turned their backs:

and they fled every man to their tents;
to their cities, as the Targum, and left their king alone.

10 Ciertamente has derrotado a Edom, y tu corazón se ha envanecido. Disfruta tu gloria y quédate en tu casa; pues, ¿por qué quieres provocar el mal de modo que caigas tú y Judá contigo?
11 Pero Amasías no quiso escuchar. Y subió Jeoás, rey de Israel; y él y Amasías, rey de Judá, se enfrentaron en Bet-semes, que pertenece a Judá.
12 Y Judá fue derrotado por Israel, y huyeron cada uno a su tienda.
13 Entonces Jeoás, rey de Israel, capturó a Amasías, rey de Judá, hijo de Joás, hijo de Ocozías, en Bet-semes; y vino a Jerusalén y derribó la muralla de Jerusalén desde la puerta de Efraín hasta la puerta del Angulo, cuatrocientos codos .
14 Y tomó todo el oro, la plata y todos los utensilios que se encontraban en la casa del SEÑOR y en los tesoros de la casa del rey, también los rehenes; y volvió a Samaria.
