2 Kings 14:24

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord
Was guilty of idolatry:

he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who
made Israel to sin;
the worship of the calves is especially meant; he was in all respects of the same cast with his ancestor of the same name, from whom he had it, in veneration of him.

22 El edificó a Elat y la restituyó a Judá, después que el rey durmió con sus padres.

23 En el año quince de Amasías, hijo de Joás, rey de Judá, Jeroboam, hijo de Jeoás, rey de Israel, comenzó a reinar en Samaria, y reinó cuarenta y un años.

24 E hizo lo malo ante los ojos del SEÑOR; no se apartó de todos los pecados con que Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, hizo pecar a Israel.

25 El restableció la frontera de Israel desde la entrada de Hamat hasta el mar de Arabá, conforme a la palabra que el SEÑOR, Dios de Israel, había hablado por medio de su siervo el profeta Jonás, hijo de Amitai, que era de Gat-hefer.

26 Porque el SEÑOR había visto la aflicción de Israel, que era muy amarga; pues no había siervo ni libre, ni nadie que ayudara a Israel.
