2 Samuel 19:2

And the victory that day was [turned] into mourning unto all
the people
They also mourned too, instead of expressing joy upon the occasion:

for the people heard say that day how the king was grieved for his
son;
this report was spread among them, which damped their joy, and hindered them from giving any tokens of it, as were usual at such times.

1 Entonces dieron aviso a Joab: He aqu铆, el rey llora y se lamenta por Absal贸n.
2 Y la victoria aquel d铆a se convirti贸 en duelo para todo el pueblo, porque el pueblo oy贸 decir aquel d铆a: El rey est谩 entristecido por su hijo.
3 Aquel d铆a el pueblo entr贸 calladamente en la ciudad, como pueblo que humillado, entra a escondidas cuando huye de la batalla.
4 Y el rey con su rostro cubierto, clamaba en alta voz: 隆Oh hijo m铆o Absal贸n, oh Absal贸n, hijo m铆o, hijo m铆o!
5 Joab entr贸 en la casa del rey, y dijo: Hoy has cubierto de verguenza el rostro de todos tus siervos que han salvado hoy tu vida, la vida de tus hijos e hijas, la vida de tus mujeres y la vida de tus concubinas,
