Deuteronomy 11:27

A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God,
&c.] That is, a blessing should come upon them, even all temporal blessings they stood in need of; they should be blessed in body and estate, in their families, and in their flocks, in town and country; see ( Deuteronomy 28:1-6 ) ,

which I command you this day;
afresh repeated to them, and enjoined them the observation of it in the name of the Lord.

25 Nadie os podrá hacer frente; el SEÑOR vuestro Dios infundirá, como El os ha dicho, espanto y temor de vosotros en toda la tierra que pise vuestro pie.

26 He aquí, hoy pongo delante de vosotros una bendición y una maldición:

27 la bendición, si escucháis los mandamientos del SEÑOR vuestro Dios que os ordeno hoy;

28 y la maldición, si no escucháis los mandamientos del SEÑOR vuestro Dios, sino que os apartáis del camino que os ordeno hoy, para seguir a otros dioses que no habéis conocido.

29 Y acontecerá, que cuando el SEÑOR tu Dios te lleve a la tierra donde entras para poseerla, pondrás la bendición sobre el monte Gerizim y la maldición sobre el monte Ebal.
