5 Todas éstas eran ciudades fortificadas con altas murallas, puertas y barras, aparte de muchos otros pueblos sin murallas.

Deuteronomy 3:5

All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars,
&c.] That is, all the cities in the kingdom of Bashan; and though they were, it hindered not their falling into the hands of the Israelites; and this might serve to encourage them against those fears they were possessed of by the spies, with respect to the cities in the land of Canaan; see ( Numbers 13:28 ) ( Deuteronomy 1:28 )

besides unwalled towns a great many;
small towns and villages adjacent to the several cities, as is common.

3 Así que el SEÑOR nuestro Dios entregó también a Og, rey de Basán, con todo su pueblo en nuestra mano, y los herimos hasta que no quedaron sobrevivientes.
4 Y tomamos en aquel entonces todas sus ciudades; no quedó ciudad que no les tomáramos: sesenta ciudades, toda la región de Argob, el reino de Og en Basán.
5 Todas éstas eran ciudades fortificadas con altas murallas, puertas y barras, aparte de muchos otros pueblos sin murallas.
6 Las destruimos totalmente, como hicimos con Sehón, rey de Hesbón, exterminando a todos los hombres, mujeres y niños de cada ciudad;
7 pero tomamos como nuestro botín todos los animales y los despojos de las ciudades.
