Ezekiel 20:48

And all flesh shall see that I the Lord have kindled it
Not only the inhabitants of Jerusalem and Judea should see the hand of the Lord in their destruction; but even all the neighbouring nations, the case was so clear and plain, the matter so visible: it shall not be quenched;
no stop put to it by all the art and power of man; so that it was a clear point that it was the Lord's doing.

46 Hijo de hombre, pon tu rostro hacia Teman y habla contra el sur, profetiza contra el bosque del Neguev ,
47 y di al bosque del Neguev: "Oye la palabra del SEÑOR. Así dice el Señor DIOS: 'He aquí, voy a prenderte un fuego que consumirá en ti todo árbol verde y todo árbol seco; no se apagará la llama abrasadora, y será quemada por ella toda la superficie, desde el sur hasta el norte.
48 'Y toda carne verá que yo, el SEÑOR, lo he encendido; no se apagará.'"
49 Entonces dije: ¡Ah, Señor DIOS! Ellos dicen de mí: "¿No habla éste más que parábolas?"
