44 Cayeron dieciocho mil hombres de Benjamín; todos ellos eran valientes guerreros.

Judges 20:44

And there fell of Benjamin eighteen thousand men
Just the number they had slain of Israel in the second battle. This is the number of them that were slain when Israel turned upon them, and by that time they got to the east of Gibeah; afterwards 5000 more were slain on the highways, and 2000 near Gidom, as after related:

all these were men of valour;
as appears by three times facing and engaging with the army of Israel, so vastly superior to them, and twice beating them.

42 Por tanto, volvieron la espalda ante los hombres de Israel en dirección al desierto, pero la batalla los alcanzó, y los que salían de las ciudades los destruían en medio de ellos.

43 Cercaron a Benjamín, lo persiguieron sin tregua y lo aplastaron frente a Guibeá, hacia el oriente.

44 Cayeron dieciocho mil hombres de Benjamín; todos ellos eran valientes guerreros.

45 Y los demás se volvieron y huyeron al desierto, a la peña de Rimón, pero capturaron a cinco mil de ellos en los caminos, y a otros los persiguieron muy de cerca hasta Gidom y mataron a dos mil de ellos.

46 El total de los de Benjamín que cayeron aquel día fue de veinticinco mil hombres que sacaban espada, todos ellos valientes guerreros.
