6 Tomé entonces a mi concubina, la corté en pedazos y la envié por todo el territorio de la heredad de Israel; porque han cometido lascivia e infamia en Israel.

Judges 20:6

And I took my concubine, and cut her in pieces
Lest it should be thought that these barbarous creatures, after they had used her in such a manner that occasioned her death, that they had committed this fact also; the Levite takes it to himself, and owns that he did that:

and sent her throughout all the country of the inheritance of Israel;
to alarm them, and excite their attention to what had passed, and to raise their indignation against it:

for they have committed lewdness and folly in Israel;
being guilty of adultery and murder, and would have committed the unnatural crime, if they could have had an opportunity of doing it.

4 Entonces el levita, marido de la mujer que había sido asesinada, respondió y dijo: Vine con mi concubina a pasar la noche en Guibeá de Benjamín.

5 Mas los hombres de Guibeá se levantaron contra mí, y rodearon la casa por la noche por causa mía. Tenían intención de matarme; pero en vez de esto, violaron a mi concubina de tal manera que murió.

6 Tomé entonces a mi concubina, la corté en pedazos y la envié por todo el territorio de la heredad de Israel; porque han cometido lascivia e infamia en Israel.

7 He aquí, todos vosotros, hijos de Israel, dad aquí vuestro parecer y consejo.

8 Entonces todo el pueblo se levantó como un solo hombre, diciendo: Ninguno de nosotros irá a su tienda, ni ninguno de nosotros volverá a su casa.
