Levítico 8:6-16

6 Entonces Moisés hizo que Aarón y sus hijos se acercaran, y los lavó con agua.

7 Y puso sobre él la túnica, lo ciñó con el cinturón, lo vistió con el manto y le puso el efod; y lo ciñó con el cinto tejido del efod, con el cual se lo ató.

8 Después le puso el pectoral, y dentro del pectoral puso el Urim y el Tumim .

9 Puso también la tiara sobre su cabeza, y sobre la tiara, al frente, puso la lámina de oro, la diadema santa, tal como el SEÑOR había ordenado a Moisés.

10 Y Moisés tomó el aceite de la unción y ungió el tabernáculo y todo lo que en él había, y los consagró.

11 Con el aceite roció el altar siete veces y ungió el altar y todos sus utensilios, y la pila y su base, para consagrarlos.

12 Y derramó del aceite de la unción sobre la cabeza de Aarón y lo ungió, para consagrarlo.

13 Luego Moisés hizo que los hijos de Aarón se acercaran y los vistió con túnicas, los ciñó con cinturones, y les ajustó las tiaras tal como el SEÑOR había ordenado a Moisés.

14 Entonces trajo el novillo de la ofrenda por el pecado, y Aarón y sus hijos pusieron sus manos sobre la cabeza del novillo de la ofrenda por el pecado.

15 Después Moisés lo degolló y tomó la sangre y con su dedo puso parte de ella en los cuernos del altar por todos los lados, y purificó el altar. Luego derramó el resto de la sangre al pie del altar y lo consagró, para hacer expiación por él.

16 Tomó también todo el sebo que había en las entrañas y el lóbulo del hígado, y los dos riñones con su sebo, y los quemó Moisés sobre el altar.

INTRODUCTION TO LEVITICUS 8

The order for the consecration of Aaron and his sons is renewed, Le 8:1-3 which accordingly was set about and performed by Moses, Le 8:4,5 who having first washed and clothed them, first Aaron, and then his sons, with the garments of the priesthood, anointing at the same time the tabernacle of the altar, and what appertained to them and Aaron also, Le 8:6-13 and then he slew the bullock for the sin offering, and the ram for the burnt offering, and the ram of consecration; and did with the blood, fat, shoulder, and breast, and the meat offering belonging thereunto, as he had been directed, Le 8:14-30 and the chapter is concluded with some instructions about boiling the flesh, and burning the remainder of it, and keeping the charge of the Lord night and day for seven days, Le 8:31-36.
