Lucas 22:14 Meaning and Commentary

Luke 22:14

And when the hour was come
When it was evening, the last of the two evenings, when it was dark, at least after six o'clock; (See Gill on Matthew 26:20). he sat down;
or lay along on a couch, as was the custom; see the note, as before: and the twelve apostles with him;
for Judas, after he had made his bargain with the chief priests, Scribes, and elders, came and took his place with the rest of the apostles, both to cover his sin, and to watch the best opportunity of betraying his master.

12 Entonces 茅l os mostrar谩 un gran aposento alto, dispuesto; preparadla all铆.
13 Entonces ellos fueron y encontraron todo tal como El les hab铆a dicho; y prepararon la Pascua.
14 Cuando lleg贸 la hora, se sent贸 a la mesa, y con El los ap贸stoles,
15 y les dijo: Intensamente he deseado comer esta Pascua con vosotros antes de padecer;
16 porque os digo que nunca m谩s volver茅 a comerla hasta que se cumpla en el reino de Dios.
